About an hours drive from San Francisco, lies the furthest point that might still be considered the SF Bay Area, Vacaville, CA. is nestled between Sacramento & San Francisco. This town, much like many suburb cities of Urban areas is host to nice neighborhoods, good schools, good retail shopping including the ever popular Outlet Stores, and even farmlands. Surrounded by rolling hills and mature oak trees, this is a beautiful area of California.
Living near this city the stores and Outlets, really don’t have much appeal for me anymore, but the one sale I anticipate every year is about a 10 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the retail area, down a long country road to a family farm, where they host an awesome antique flea market a few times a year. The owners of the farm invite pickers from all over to set up shop on their property, they can have 75 or more vendors with wonderful antique finds, unique crafters of primitive and vintage pieces, fresh wreaths, baked goods and more. This sale is a lot of fun, and I have been lucky in finding a few new treasures each time I have been. Here are a few of my finds from this years Vintage Christmas Flea Market. They can be found on Facebook, and that is how they advertise and announce their next sale. Keep scrolling for some pics of the treasures I found. and how to get notified of their next sale. Merry Christmas!
The treasure hunt is half the fun!
